It’s summer time! Yes, it’s a bit hot to the start of our Texas Summer, but, lessons are back! I have arranged my lessons to be in the am and after 7pm! Keep in mind, if there is a high heat index, the horse nor the rider will be happy! However, bring some water and set your lessons up via my appoint fix link! 👉🏻 Book appointments online
Lynx and Declan are a little fat but ready to teach some folks about riding! Let’s do it!
I promised I would update before and after my surgery! The surgery was for sure needed on my shoulder. I had some tearing of my labrum and my rotator cuff. I had bone spurs on my clavicle that was, in fact, wearing on my rotator cuff. If this situation is like my left shoulder, I assume that when I was kicked in the chest last September, inflammation then formed in my shoulder on the side I was kicked leading to persistent irritation! Same thing happened in my left! They also removed my bicep tendon and anchored it to the bone vs the joint capsule!
Anyhow, it has been a little over two weeks and my shoulder is still in a sling! I do get out of my sling on May 6. I will be limited on weight. Right now, I’m not allowed to lift anything with my right arm. Eventually I will work up to five pounds etc. But, I’m doing pretty good! As long as I don’t physically use my right arm, all is well!
For lessons— I am wanting to start back the first week of May for those that can saddle the horse! If the rider cannot swing the saddle, I will either need parental help or message me so we can make sure Hannah can be there! I won’t be able to handle more than one student at a time. If there is a family with two riders, message me so I can have Hannah there! I miss my students! This will be a slow process and I will be feeling my self out to see what I can handle so please be patient! ❤️
Due to my upcoming surgery this week, I’m taking time off. I have been blessed with so many lessons in the last week! My body is sore, sunburnt, and tired. It’s time to reserve myself for my surgery! I apologize for any inconvenience! But I have to reserve my energy to heal from the surgery! I also cannot do my best when in pain!
I’m very blessed to have a husband and kiddo to help with the horses and dogs. This is going to be a long few weeks. I appreciate all those whom have offered to help! I will only have one arm for a bit! Pray for my husband and his cooking to provide food for us! I’m very thankful that my dad is coming for a few days to help out as well! Ken and my boys will do good together! Now to clean house and rest up!
If you do want to help, I can say my people eat a lot. Food is welcomed! Feel free to text me! If I respond and it’s weird, blame it on voice text and pain meds! ❤️ you all and will miss my students!
