Some of these things may not sound great but in my eyes, they are! For starters. Honey had some training put on her and now she is part of my lesson program! Declan is starting to realize that lessons are work so he is also doing great!
I found out that, by the Grace of God, Lynx’s lesion is GONE! Poof!!! GONE! He does currently have a hoof abscess but that will clear up! I get to ride my boy again! I can’t wait!!! But, I have to wait as I am finally getting my right shoulder repaired! Something that has been bothering me forever is finally getting the fix it needs! Yes, this will put me in a sling for a month and no weight for four months, but I will be stronger after!
While I am recovering, we have Whiskey in training! I’m super excited about that! He will spend a little more time than I thought with the trainer but that is just flat awesome! Baby horse will learn to be a working horse before he comes home!!! So far he is learning the basics and doing so good!
My lesson program is picking up too! Now my shoulder surgery might slow it down but I am currently teaching parents how to do the heavy lifting and I have Hannah as my helper! I think we can do this!! I will just be the one armed talking head for a bit!
After I recover, Lynx and I will get together and get in shape so we can go back to our favorite things! I’m blessed beyond belief! Thank you Lord for all of your blessings!
